Mo:Ben Lunch Box

Mo:Ben, a lunch box designed by Alex Cheong, is able to warm up the meal through an internal film heater. I am not very impressed by the warming feature because film heating is long heating process. I prefer it is just a cooler, keep food inside cool or warm for what it is. But I really like the overal design. It is a very well though design with all the details. Like the handle design integrates with the overall form and the color accent. May suggest fork and spoon snaped on the lid instead of on the additional plate. Via Yanko Design

Paralda HEPA Air Purifier

Allen's new Paralda Air Purifier is a nice attractive design. Loves the inner core of "bambook green" with a translucent shell surrounding it. It gives a fresh breathing feeling, not like a traditional air purifiers with white and black and silver appliances look.

BookShelf Chair and Scroll Table by Nobody & Co

Bibliochaise, a chair with bookshelf, designed by Nobody & Co., is such a neat product. I think book lovers would appreciate this idea.

The Scroll Table is more an ideal product than the BookShelf Chair. Allow to changing different modifs on a table surface is not necessary, it is more user's emotional need.

Bookmark Lamp by Fulguro

A simple design can make a hugh sense. It would be great if the Bookmark arm is ON/OFF switch too. Via Fulguro

Box Lamp

Commissioned by Hera for its New Year's corporated gift emphasizing on sustainability, designed by Ciclus, this packaging is not only made from recycled carton and wood from sustainable forests, but also can be converted into a table lamp. What a great idea!

Floater

Oh, it has been really for a while since last post. Sorry, it has been very very busy in past two months. I really have no time left except for a few hours sleep a day. I do hope I can keep posting as frequent as I could, even just a picture with short note everyday, or every other day. I really don't like my Blog has no updates for months like this time. So hope it won't happen again...:)

I found this a while back. Floater, designed by Seongyong Lee, is a very cool idea and very practical. Simple and effective, no more search for a spoon in a bowl of soup. Via TrendsNow.

Pee on the Flowers

Woo, such a Romanic idea. It really makes Pee so beautiful... Via Yangko Design

Lamps with same visual but different techniques

Mirage, by Tronconi, is actually the hologram in the front and the opal back side spreads a powerful light ideal for reading.

Sliced Lamp, by Studio Mango, creates the effect by cutting up an old fashioned table lamp and dividing it into over 40 Perspex plates.

Table Shedding

A table, designed by Liliana Ovalle, is exhibited on London design Festival 08. I just like it.

"Floating" DVD from LG

The "Floating" DVD player from LG can be set up horizontally or vertically, or even mounted on a wall. I like its unique, sci-fi design with the concealed display and sliding-door disc tray lid. More...
